China

The People’s Republic of China is a brutal and corrupt autocratic regime that is run for the benefit of those who are aligned to the sphere of influence of the CCP. Civil liberties and democracy are non-existent and particularly dissent and the expression of political views is severely persecuted.

Wealth disparity is correlated with alignment with the CCP. Citizens who fall outside of the sphere of influence of the CCP will not prosper in life, are unable to travel, obtain credit, and often live in poverty.

Religions freedoms are non-existent and minority groups can suffer greatly by internment, exploitation, jail sentences or death. Dissidents are often killed for their organs and citizens who fall out of favour with the CCP are stripped of all rights and often disappear without trace.

China is a threat to democracy and civil liberties well beyond its borders. CCP agents operate in Western countries to silence dissenting views in the media, influence politicians, monitor and silence Chinese students and undermine Western democracies. State-controlled agencies, particularly the military, constantly engage in IP theft, cyber-terror, hacking and coercion in order to undermine Western companies and democratic open societies.

China’s aggressive behaviour towards its immediate neighbours and the constant threat of invasion of Taiwan places it in a very dangerous category as the main threat to democracy in the world.

We advocate for regime change in China, and we support all community efforts within China to exercise dissent and a challenge to  the corrupt one-party system of the CCP. We also advocate to suspend all trade, cooperation and diplomatic relations with China.
